The integration enables the PolicyCenter user to readily access iClarify Residential to ‘see’ risks by entering in any property address (urban, rural, or legal land lot) to quickly unlock geo-coded risk intelligence including pre-filled construction features, replacement costs, and satellite/streetscape imagery.

“Our partnership is designed to provide an easy integration between Guidewire PolicyCenter and Opta’s iClarify Residential risk assessment platform,” said Greg McCutcheon, President, Opta. “We look forward to bringing our joint insurance customers an improved quoting experience with pre-filled data powered by an accurate and consistent database of Canadian construction features and imagery that is continuously validated through real-time policyholder dialogue.”

The Opta Ready for Guidewire integration to iClarify Residential benefits insurers by:

  • Supporting an enhanced customer experience with a faster application process as information is validated versus gathered;
  • Minimizing errors and promoting proper insurance to value; and
  • Reducing quote time, while increasing accuracy.

“We welcome Opta Information Intelligence to Guidewire PartnerConnect as a Solution partner,” said Neil Betteridge, Vice President, Strategy, Guidewire Software. “Opta’s iClarify Residential risk assessment platform together with Guidewire PolicyCenter provide our mutual Canadian carrier customers streamlined access to accurate property data and valuations, powering a better customer experience, and driving proper insurance to value for homeowners and the insurance industry.”
